Your Role

As a Business Controller, you will have a central and business-close role where you work closely with program management, production, and leadership. You function as a strategic partner and "co-pilot" to the business, with a clear focus on driving profitability, creating insights, and ensuring financial control in a complex and growing environment.

You report to the Head of Business Control and become a key person in both project and production contexts, contributing with analysis, steering, and direction.

Your main areas of responsibility include:

• Act as a business partner to project and production managers on financial and strategic issues
• Drive and develop financial management, analysis, and follow-up within product areas, projects, and production
• Ensure high quality in forecasts, budgets, and long-term business planning
• Analyze outcomes and identify risks, deviations, and opportunities for improvement - and drive actions
• Contribute to increasing the financial focus and business understanding in the organization
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles and internal guidelines
• Actively participate in the development of processes, systems, and working methods within the finance function

Your Profile

We are looking for you who are a Business Controller or Finance Manager with a clear strategic perspective and a strong business focus. You have the ability to look beyond the numbers and use financial information as a tool to drive direction, priorities, and long-term value creation.

You have a relevant academic education and extensive experience in qualified controlling work, where you have been an active and advisory partner to both leadership and operations. You have preferably worked in a production-, logistics-, or project-intensive environment and are accustomed to linking financial management to operational decisions.

To succeed in the role, we see that you have:

• At least approx. 7 years of experience in business controlling or similar roles - preferably in a logistics or production environment
• Strong competence in financial planning, forecasts, budgets, and follow-up
• Experience in driving change, improving processes, and developing working methods
• Good understanding of business management in a complex organization

At the same time, your personal qualities are crucial. You combine analytical sharpness with a clear business focus and have the ability to turn insights into concrete initiatives. You are confident in your professional role and dare to challenge when necessary, but do so in a way that creates trust and engagement.

• Are proactive, self-driven, and thrive in an environment with change and growth
• Have a natural ability to influence and support decision-making at different levels
• Build strong relationships and collaborate effectively in a matrix organization

You express yourself fluently in both Swedish and English, both orally and in writing.

The position requires that you undergo and are approved according to current security clearance regulations. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail requirements for specific citizenship.
